A network of logging roads and trails runs throughout, providing access to the interior. Main access is located off Mount Vernon Road, while two timber landings along Pine Pole Road offer additional areas for camping and access into the property.
The tract is encumbered by a Maryland Department of Natural Resources conservation easement.
